At 6:22PM, SI.com and MLBNetwork guru, Jon Heyman, tweeted that the Nats have reached a 1-year deal with veteran right-hander Chien-Ming Wang.
Wang will be one of the four Nats starting pitchers that will go into spring training with a guaranteed spot in the Opening Day Rotation.
We covered Wang's 2011 resurrection campaign in our A Few Good Men series.
This past season he went 4-3 in 11 starts, while racking up a 4.04 ERA and a 1.283 WHIP in his first year back after two years of shoulder surgeries and rehab.
Another piece of the puzzle is now in place for 2012.
UPDATE - 7:21pm
According to our crack beat writers (Goessling, Ladson, and Kilgore), the Nats haven't yet agreed - though it seems to be imminent.
